"A young businessman, out joging one night, sees a beautiful woman undressing in her bedroom window
and he is compelled to return every night to watch her, until one night he witnesses a murder in the same apartment
and soon becomes the prime suspect because of a variety of circumstances evolving from his voyeurism. (IMDb)

This was a good Canadian thriller directed by William Fruet
who directed lots of interesting stuff in the 70s and 80s.

I liked the fairly unknown cast. Kip Gilman was good as Harry Ross.
He somehow reminded me of Griffin Dunne and his problems in the classic After Hours.
Dayle Haddon was very pretty as Dr. Barnes and Barbara Law did a great role as JoBeth.

I also liked those three policemen who tried to solve the crime.

Nice synth score and two cool tunes, few steamy scenes and some funny jokes.
Surprisingly good erotic thriller, i was instantly hooked [Wink]

This sounds really cool, never seen or heard of it before. But I will hunt it down and watch it now. I love 80's noirs and synth scores.

Atomik.. I agree that this is an underrated thriller. Great call on the main character reminding you of Griffin Dunne.

The reason I remember this film so well is actually because I was shocked that Linda Blair was in "Bedroom Eyes II". Wings Hauser played the main character and there is an infamous scene in it that is blurred vision. [Eek!] ha

I watched the 1984 Canadian erotic thriller - bedroom eyes earlier on and overall I thought it was really entertaining, like atomik mentions above the cast is mostly made up of unknowns but they all aquit themselves rather well and the plot while daft never becomes too silly like many entries in this genre tend to,also the music score is pretty great (especially the opening and closing credits song) and for an 'erotic' thriller you don't get short changed as there's plenty of flesh on display!

This was pretty good fun actually and if it was to ever get a DVD release I reckon i could probably see myself picking up a copy.

Need to check out the directors William fruet's - killer party next to see what that is like, have watched it way back but remember very little from it!
