"A working-class boy falls for a girl from a wealthy family, and must compete for her with a rich boy who also wants her." (IMDb)
This was a sympathetic romantic comedy directed by Richard T. Heffron (Futureworld etc.) Gary Busey as Wes and Annette O'Toole as Susan did a great job in the leading roles. John Calvin, Eddie Albert, Cloris Leachman, Tony Randall and Michael "Miami Vice" Talbott are the co-stars. You can also see William H. Macy in a short but funny role in his second feature film.
Susan: "Why are you so sweaty?" Wes: "I´m jogging" Susan: "With your cowboy boots on?" Wes: "These are Adidas cowboy boots from El Paso"
Nice Minnesota locations, cool characters and scenes. I find these early 80s films much funnier than movies made today.
Here´s a fun scene from the beginning of the movie:

I recall semi-enjoying this. Largely due to the lovely Annette O'Toole...

Yes, it was hilarious! Crashing through the church windows! Great movie, would love to see that again.
