Perhaps this film has been a bit forgotten, but it's a great film that gives a very different representation of the early 80's . A very deep and complex story about 'teen angst'. Main stars are Dennis Hopper and Linda Manz, the strange little androgyn girl whom you might have seen in Days of Heaven, The Wanderers or Gummo. She gives a truly magnificent performance as traumatized and confused punk-girl. The very first and final scenes of this movie are extremely nihilistic and surrealistic punk-explosions. Definitely a unique movie, that I can recommend to everybody with an open mind.
