anyone else here like this one starring willem dafoe and judge reinhold,i find it quite a fun movie with some good tunes, some cool vintage american cars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzZobCpYEkc .does anyone know is it willem dafoe singing marie, marie in the movie, i used to think it was the shakin stevens version or someone else's and he was lip synching to it,but if you compare the bar singing in the trailer it don't sound that much like shaky's version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reFRwC82cYw .

Did you watch the end credits? You can find it there if Dafoe performed the song.
Anyway, i´m going to get this one.

turns out it is willem dafoes voice singing the track marie, marie in the bar scene but i'm positive they've used the shakin stevens version on the trailer, dafoes singing sounds a bit rough round the edges but he gives it a good shot and doesn't sound to bad! it's no classic, but it is a fun film atomik and if you can get it cheap enough it's well worth it.

Watched Roadhouse 66 last night. It is a good roadmovie with a very cool cast.
Judge Reinhold and Willem Dafoe are always great. Then we have cute girls like Kaaren Lee ( The Allnighter, Remote Control) and Kate Vernon ( Alphabet City, Pretty in Pink) and the cool bad guys Alan Autry ( Southern Comfort, In the Heat of the Night -series), Kevyn Major Howard (Full Metal Jacket, War Party, Alien Nation and Peter Van Norden.
Cool vintage cars, nice easy-going feel and historic Kingman and Oatman Arizona locations. And yes, it was great to see Dafoe singing Marie, Marie in the film. Good stuff!
Oh, one more thing. Nastassja Kinski drank the Mescaline worm in Terminal Velocity and Kaaren Lee did the same thing in this one. Is this the offical booze of Arizona?

Pleased you enjoyed it atomik,it's a cool little road movie that sadly seems to be very under exposed,if you check ImdB there's only about 10 user reviews in total.
At least with us both having watched it and having enjoyed it we can talk it up here on the rewind and perhaps get a few more of our fellow movie fanatics to give it a shot,I'm sure the majority won't be disapointed.
Roadhouse 66 is a great little road flick that is well worth checking out.
