Just watched this early Tom Hanks flick directed by Stan Dragoti (Mr. Mom, She's Out of Control) It was ok, nothing special really but i enjoyed watching it.
The cast was good, Hanks was Hanks and Belushi was Belushi. Carrie Fisher was very sexy in her leopard bikinis and Lori Singerīs evening dress rocked too. Iīve always liked Dabney Coleman, Charles Durning and Edward Herrmann.
I also liked Thomas Newmanīs score. Now i still have some 80s Hanks flicks that i havenīt seen.
aTomik.. this is a movie that I enjoyed at the time, but it was never appealing enough for me to revisit it. The cast is great, but the movie didn't quite get the laughs that it should have in my opinion.

I liked it. I liked almost everything Hanks was in during the 80's. It wasn't brilliant, but enjoyable enough.

A reasonably good film that can be called somewhat underrated; great cast as mentioned (Belushi as the best one, particularly when he starts descending into lunacy after repeatedly seeing the dead bodies Hanks can't.
