I liked this interesting and entertaining tv-movie.
The cast is great: starring Karen Valentine, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Linda Purl as three women who become prostitutes because they need the "extra" money. Richard Masur and Gary Graham are the husbands.
The women work for madam Karen Gordon, played by Susan Flannery from The Bold and the Beautiful. (i was surprised how good she is) Christopher Lloyd is Sergeant Stampone. You can also see Mary McDonnell in a small role.
The women are all pretty believable and it was kinda cool that they sometimes talk to the camera.
Special thanks to my friend who sent me this rare tape!

I have never seen it or heard of it, but I love the idea of a housewife hookers tv movie of the week. This was a big problem in 1982, and I'm glad someone took on the responsibility to bring the issue out in the open and get the discussion started.

SA's comment made me snort laugh.........haha
I actually just watched Night Shift of course a funny take on the pimp/ho scenario...hehe
But I get what you mean Atomik about liking that they sometimes talk to the camera.....I've always loved movies that are narrated by the character.......of course Ferris Bueller! for some reason you really do attach to the character more and honestly feel like they are talking to YOU!

Yeah, it worked really well in Ferris. In this movie the scenes are more like interviews though so it´s not that "spontaneous".
