i love this movie..
it also has one of my fave 80s guys, John Stockwell, who was also in Christine, Quarterback Princess, My Science Project and a small role in Top Gun.
and although a lot of people find Jackie Earle Haley scary.. I like him. He is a wonderful actor. Jess mentioned in her topic, his role in Little Children. I've seen that movie and yes he definitely deserved an oscar nomination. He was pretty good as Freddy in the latest Nightmare movie. and I loved him as Rorschach in Watchmen (he was the only thing I liked about that movie.)
Anyway, I thought it was a fun movie, your typical boys-wanna-get-laid hi-jinks type flick. Tom Cruise never stood out to me in this one and he didn't have chemistry with Shelly Long at all, but still a cool 80s movie to have, glad I own this one.

When I saw the subject title (Losin' It - Tom Cruise), I immediately thought that Tom has finally managed to outdo his couch-jumping on Oprah Winfrey's show or his criticism of psychiatry again.

That's funny, StevenHW
I like this movie ok. Saw it on tv a lot when I was younger. I haven't seen it in probably 5 years, so it might be time to refresh my memory.

I've always enjoyed this movie, but mainly because of the other characters besides Tom Cruise. Like Ronnie mentioned.. the Shelly Long and Tom Cruise pairing just didn't quite work.
