(Sorry, one of the best, and only, pics I could find online of this film.)
I delved deep into my obscure movie memory banks and came out with this beauty. This 1989 Sci-Fi sleeper stars Rodney Eastman portraying an impoverished adolescent outcast who becomes a deadly, vengeful killer against his tormentors after he finds a super-secret anti-matter gun lying in a stream....
....And, that's about all I can remember. Actually, I think I covered just about the entire movie right there..lol. From what little I remember of this film, it's about as cheesy as cheesy Sci-fi films can get. No real plot other than boy is bullied, boy finds cool gun, boy gets even...that's it. But for some reason I remember really liking this movie the few times I saw it.
So...my question is this to all you all-knowing 80's fantatics out there...Has this movie even been released on DVD at all?? And if so, where can I buy a copy? And yes, I searched myself for info and couldn't find much..I did find a few old VHS copies for sale on Amazon. So I'm more likely gonna order one of those if I can't find it on DVD anywhere.

Looks pretty interesting flick to me. I think that it was never released here though.
Directed by Michael Miner who co-wrote Robocop, so why didnīt they bring it here? "From the man who created Robocop" text on the cover and we all would have rented it
The soundtrack seems to include heavy metal tune "Always on the Run" by Obsession. Itīs from the cool Methods Of Madness album which i happen to own
Obscure flick so i doubt that a dvd release will ever see the light of day. I sure hope that we can find a VHS tape someday.
Hereīs a better cover art pic:

Yeah, I agree that this one will probably never be released on DVD. And I do remember as cheesy as the movie was, it did have a pretty decent soundtrack. After some exploration and asking around, this movie is still very hard to find. I found out the couple copies I found online are not legit...so my search continues.
