In the past we discussed our thoughts on "My Tutor" and "Private Lessons". These movies are somewhat similar, but the fact that Matt Lattanzi was actually 23 when he filmed "My Tutor" the subject matter just didn't seem quite as inappropriate for some reason.
"My Tutor" always makes me think of "The Last American Virgin" because of the ridiculous attempts by the main guys in the movies to lose their virginity. Somewhere in between those scenes are actually decent movies.
And for Crispin Glover fans.. is there anything funnier than him spinning on that wheel?
And Muffy was making fun of the scenes in the movie "Perfect", but the aerobic scenes in "My Tutor" were far superior! ha
Finally, I actually love the ending where Bobby visits the beautiful Bonnie in the middle of the night.. the right girl that he always wanted.
A little trivia.. Most people know that Matt Lattanzi was once married to Olivia Newton-John, but did you know that the actress that played Bonnie was Amber Denyse Austin who is the grand niece of Bing Crosby.

oooooooops, i havnt seen this. i wasnt allowed to. Is it a graduate repeat. i got to see private lessons. I really want to see the glover scene you described. is his character similar in this movie as in bttf??

Secret Admirer.. this movie is only borderline good, so don't rush out to find it. Worth a watch, but probably not a purchase.
Oneyed.. Crispin Glover played Matt Lattanzi's other virginal buddy. He definitely played the comedic pal pretty well.

Funny story regarding how myself and some prepubescent friends got to see My Tutor. A friends parents rented this thinkin it was soft porn to help spice up their bedroom time.but they were so disappointed with it,they decided it was more for our (under)age group hehe.nice

I liked this movie. Private Lessons was boring for me.If you guys want to own it but not pay alot get the DVD School Dazed it has 8 movies some of which are watchable! haha

My Tutor is a good Crown International Pictures release. Crispin Glover is just crazy in this, he always delivers. I also love Amber Denyse Austin, so why donīt i have Neon Maniacs (1986)? Thatīs the only other flick she appeared in...
