OK, so this is not a classic 80s movie, but I've managed to track down quite a few of the film locations and have posted them on www.onthesetofnewyork.com. The website now has over 200 New York based films, location maps, classic scenes and much much more.

"Someone To Watch Over Me" is a great flick.. Tom Berenger is outstanding as the married detective assigned to protect Mimi Rogers. His struggles with temptation and how to best protect Rogers make for a suspenseful movie. I haven't watched it in years, but remember it was a sleeper hit at the time.
