Yes! Finally i saw Warbus again! Last time i watched it was in the 80s when we rented Warbus vhs tape many times.
This is a classic Vietnam/jungle war flick in my books. Directed by Ferdinando Baldi aka Ted Kaplan and starring Daniel Stephen, Romano Kristoff and Urs Althaus.
This is so surprisingly well done even though itīs clearly just a low-budget italian war movie. Featuring nice action scenes and huge explosions. Get it, whatever the cost!
Next: Warbus 2

Just watched Warbus 2 (1989) aka Afganistan - the Last WarBus.
Ok, this is not really a sequel but it includes a bus and a mission to drive it through enemy area, so i can understand the title.
This was not a good movie by any means but i enjoyed some parts. Rocky mountain action can never beat good jungle action so this flick never really had a chance against the original.
Mark Gregory is surprisingly lame and John Vernon looks like he was having a holiday.
The score has itīs moments (featuring some upbeat italian synth stuff) and i was shocked that this flick includes few pretty nice steadycam shots.
