I can't remember the title of this movie despite the fact that I watched it dozens of times when I was a kid...I talked the local video store owner to give me his old movie posters and I would hang them in my room.
Details: 1. A group of high school jocks hunt and kill other students in the woods. 2. They bring a kid from "the other side of the tracks" into their group. I believe he's writes for the school paper. 3. When he finds out what the jocks are doing he attempts to stop them. 4. He is friends with another student who has a mohawk and a Mustang Mack I (I think). The Mustang has speakers that pop up from the roof of the car.

Chris04, i believe that you´re remembering a flick called Dangerously Close (1986)
It´s a cool b-action flick starring John Stockwell.
Don Michael Paul is such a jerk in this. He was good though. Miguel A Nunez and Thom Matthews from Friday 13th/Return of the Living Dead fame show up to at least have a great cast. funny flick
