I'm looking for a movie I watched on cable in 1990/91 it was a dance movie a la girls just want to have fun, or breakin' but i know it wasn't either of those. I think the girl was white and the male was black but light skinned like Prince. He was moody and his dance team were the "bad" kids and she had an older brother who was dancing with the preppy kids, their competition. Please help i've been looking forever.

nope its not a hip-hop, break dance film, it seemed more pop

just recalled that at some point the girl offers to let the group practice at her fathers property as a way to win them over, of course without her dad's permission so it turns into an issue later.

i've checked all of these and it's not in there, i appreciate the responses though. the girl in the movie was more of the cutesy blond type. and the movie ends in a dance comp similar to Girls just want to have fun. Maybe it was a TV movie... i think i saw it on hbo
