In my school as a child, there used to be movie afternoons a few times a year... this is all I remember of the movie... It is an asian movie i believe, set in China (or something) and here is the story.
I remember a boy being chased around by bad kids. the setting had very windy little roads (buildings, river in the city). A chineese parade with that dragon walking the streets... and I think at some point, there's some fantasy in there, like he disappears into a magical world or something (that i could be wrong)
It has to be late 70s or very early 80s ...
that's all I remember of this movie, except I did enjoy it alot... up to you now to throw some titles my way.
P.S. it is not the movie about the stamps, where the kid travels through the mail.
