Hi, I'm new to this forum and I need to know the name of a movie I watched when I was a kid.
I only know the opening scene. It starts out with a kid who is taking a cup of tea to his grandmother. He's affraid of her but she can do magic. He drops the tea because he's scared of her and then she gives him a couple books from which he can learn magic from or something like that.
I know it sounds very vague but it's the only memory I have of this movie. Can anyone help?

That sounds like an episode from the first season of The (New) Twilight Zone called "Gramma". It's based on a Stephen King story.
