I was pretty excited to finally get Monster Squad on DVD, but it looks like I'm going to require the HD version as well

On 11/24 Lionsgate is releasing a few 80's flicks on Blu-ray:

Monster Squad
My Bloody Valentine (the original)
Cujo
Angel Heart

They all have an msrp of $19.99 so there's a good chance they will be on sale for around $10 when they are released.

We're finally starting to get a lot more 80's in HD - I still can't believe Night Of The Creeps and Screwballs are coming out soon too.

Anyone else looking forward to more 80's in HD?

As long as they continue to ensure the transfers are up to scratch, I'll continue buying them. I never actually bought that many movies on DVD anyway, so it's not a case of "double-dipping", like it is for a lot of people.
