So I'm working on my list of top fives by year and I come across one that I haven't seen since 84/86 called Flashpoint with Treat Williams and Kris Kristofferson and a lot of it just came flooding it back to me and I think I may have even liked this movie. I remember it being about a couple cops or border patrol officers and of course there are bad guys, but here is my main question for anyone that remembers...They found something in the desert like a skeleton in a car I think and here is the part I vaguely remember, did it have somemhing to do with the Kennedy assassination? Like maybe you were supposed to infer that this was the real shooter. I remember something like that. Can anyone tell me what they remember about this one? Worth revisiting?

I actually have Flashpoint in my queue at Netflix right now. I've never seen it before, but it mentions the JFK assassination tie-in right in the plot synopsis. It's weird that I've never actually seen this film. I've owned the soundtrack for many years and love it.

Great movie! I have the Tangerine Dream soundtrack too and love it! Have to watch Flashpoint again soon.

Bad form on my part. I am still getting used to the message boards. I didn't even stop to think that people may not have seen it, so everyone...ignore my questions! Journey hasn't seen it yet (and I am sure others). No sense in spoiling it. From your comment though aTomik, sounds like I should revisit it!
Please do give it your thumbs up or down though...I would be curious
