Howdy, I am in search of a movie title or name. I remember watching this back in the 80's. It is a movie based in the south Pacific possibly Samoa or similar and at or just before the turn of the 20th century. I think there is a bit of an Alain Quartermain theme to it and also includes a Imperial German navy gunboat. It is a bit of an adventure/comedy story. That's about all I can remember but I know it was very exciting for me at the time. So if anyone knows the name of this movie please let me know. It might have been a tele movie. Cheers.

That could be it. I remember now that it was called 'Savage Islands' in Australia. Now if only I could remember all the other great movies I saw when I was a kid............. Thanks for that journey.
