i'm trying remember the name of this movie i saw years ago. its about a kid and his mother who get a visit from her father who has been in jail for years. he's dying so he comes to spend some time with his grandson. the grandfather starts buying them appliances and other things. his visit was a surprise to the mother as she hadn't seen him for years. she tries to keep the fact that he's her father from her son, but eventually he finds out. the grandfather goes to great lengths to help the kid get over his insecurities and even hires the yankees hitting coach to teach him to hit a ball. what movie is this? i can see the actors, i just can't remember their names.
