Wondering if anyone has recommendations for 80's flicks set in RICH L.A. Bel Air, Beverly Hills, etc.
Please post a reply with any you can think of.
Thanks.

Most of this movie is not set in rich LA, but check out "Tuff Turf" because about half through the movie they take a roadtrip and you see some awesome homes as they travel through some very cool neighborhoods.

What about something like "Heathers" or even better "Body Double" where the guy watches a stylish 80's modern house while he voyeurs on his beautiful neighbor. If I remember correctly, he does some driving through the Hollywood Hills and follows her to some ritzy shopping areas.
And of course there is always "Down and Out in Beverly Hills".

There is a movie from 1990 called 'Rich Girl", I am not totally sure where it is set but I think it looks like L.A.

Thanks for the responses. I should've been a little more specific. My curiosity is a movie that explores the people, characters, stories etc. not so much the setting itself...

Excellent suggestion Phil. The movie starts at Beverly Hills High School. Great movie which touches on incredible aspects of the 80's, but the resulting subject matter is depressing to watch at times.

LOVERBOY 1989... Patrick Dempsey becomes, and I quote... "The love doctor of Beverly Hills".

What about "Beverly Hills Cop"?
How about Pretty Woman, it's not too far off from being in the 80s.
