EncoreW is running a 80's movie marathon this weekend. I just finished watching Sixteen Candles and Weird Science is starting now. Looking at what coming up and i'm shocked to see Miracle Mile is airing at 5:45AM. Great little movie that most people have never heard of with Anthony Edwards & Mare Winngham.

The reason I originally picked up Encore was that they do an 80's weekend every year. They do an excellent job of mixing in extremely popular 80's flicks with hidden gems like "Miracle Mile". I wish Encore was HD, because it would awesome to see "Sixteen Candles" in HD.

Coming up next, 12:20AM, is the opening day of the US Festival with INXS, Wall of Voodoo, Oingo Boingo, English Beat Stray Cats, Men At Work, Flock of Seagulls, and The Divinyls. I've never seen it before but i'm a big fan of most of the bands listed.
