My child wants to watch the movie Nighthawks starring Stallone and I saw that one of the reason the movie is rated R is for nudity. Can someone please tell me what kind of nudity is in this movie? I wanted to know how graphic the nudity gets and what is shown. Thanks.

Ok, please explain this to me...
How on earth can some nudity or a scene of two people making love (no matter how graphic) be any worse than a bunch of guys trying to kill each other in the worst kind of ways?
- "Look this guy gets his head blown off.. cool!!!" - "Oh no, a boob… turn it off, turn it off!!!"
Sorry, just my opinion.

Well, I imagine fendigirl prob wouldn't let her child watch violence either, so I'll try and help.
From memory, I don't remember this movie being overly sexual in nature, but it does have some violence and a lot of gritty tension. How old is the child?

I just noticed this was your first post Fendigirl. There are better ways to welcome new members than mine. Sorry about that...
It’s just that I don’t get how lots of people seem to be more concerned to confront their kids with nudity than with violence. But of course this doesn’t necessarily mean that you do as well. Chances are that you weren’t aware of the violence in this movie either.
Nick is right, this movie is pretty violent and has a very gritty atmosphere (that I personally don’t like). What I try to do when I’m unfamiliar with a certain movie, is to first preview it by myself and then decide whether or not it’s suitable for my children. Cause only you know your child best and are the one that decides if you let him/her watch certain stuff.
P.S. YouTube has a couple of clips from Nighthawks, which might give you an idea. Hope this helps.

if this is the movie he did with rutger hauer then i remember loving this flick.
depending on the age of my kid, i probably wouldn't watch it with him/her. my kid will have to be sneaky like i was when i was younger if he wants to watch movies i don't want him to see.
i don't really remember any overt sexuality or nudity, but i think the violence alone is enough to not watch it with him/her.
