I have a vague memory of this movie and I cannot remember the name of it. It has something to do with a boy helping some people or something envrionmental. It also includes, I think, a basketball player or sports figure, and at the end of the movie he is in a plane and talks to the kid and the plane blows up. What the heck is this movie?? Ive done every google search I can think of and can;t find anything. Please help!

It could have blown up. It's been a very long time since I've seen it so I might have forgotten that part.
