I was looking at the new Rewind...and I never saw this movie ever, never heard of it...was shocked to see it's Madonna's first acting job.

Has anyone else seen it...is it any good?

I have seen it Isis and no, it’s not good.

Unless you’re a fan of these type of art-movies, there’s a reason why you never heard of it before.
If there is such a thing as a C-movie, than this is definitely it. It’s extremely low budget and it shows.

I had it on VHS once, but lost it with a bunch of other video’s, due to water damage.
(The cover promised the viewer some um.. nude scenes with Madonna, which is what I was curious about at age 14. [Embarrassed]

curiosity finally did me in and I bought a VHS for about a buck a year ago

i've never seen it but i was always curious about it. but not for the same reasons as TKO lol
..as if we all don't know what madonna looks like naked.

Ok, NOW that isn't much of a secret anymore. But around that time we didn't know. It also wasn't until after this movie that Playboy decided to publish her pictures and Madonna exposed her body every chance she got..

Anyway, I already knew she could sing...

I imagine when this came out you had to spend an arm and a leg for a copy....Now that its on DVD you can get it on AMAZON used for about a buck. Anyone who is sooooo curious they dont take my word for it it's crap should part with their dollar and see for themselves!

The sad thing is....the movie sort of starts out okay and then ....there are times when your just mind - boggled at how wrong things went! The ending in particular

A Certain Sacrifice (1983)

Started my Madonna week with this infamous disaster.
This was 60 minutes of pure pain. Here´s the story behind the "movie":

"This was shot as a student film. (Originally shot on Super 8mm in 1979)
Madonna was unknown at the time but demanded she be paid for her work.
The director required her to sign a release and paid her 100 dollars for her work.
Later when Madonna became successful she tried to ban the movie.
The director refused citing the release she signed - -which only arose from her insistence to be paid." (IMDb)
