I have asked everywhere for this movies. I saw it when i was little and vaguly remember. It was about people on a scavenger hunt. no it is was not scavenger hunt, cannonball run, midnight madness, or its a mad mad mad mad world. i've checked all these. some of the details i remember is that it were families trying to find the money. they had to solve riddles. i believe one of the clues is under a bench... they find the money in i believe a fish tank in someone's house. it has some of the same appeal as the others, teams, searching in the city, heirs to fourtunes, but none of those movies were it. I know its and 80s movie because i remember the outfits.
