Hey friends, I want to throw an 80's prom themed party but need ideas from movies. Anyone have any 80's high school prom movies in mind?

I got one that wasn't made in the 80's, but the prom in the movie was supposed to take place in the 80's. Look for the flashback prom scene in "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion". It is dead on as far as the clothes and music go.
Also the last scene of "Fast Times" features a dance. They weren't dressed in gowns and tuxes, but it may help you.
