I'm a huge fan of 80's movies and am just over the moon with this fantastic website. I am looking for a movie that i watched when i was a kid. I know it was British about a successful band that was returning to the hometown of the lead singer and his old girlfriend is getting married and it's their hen's and bucks night the day he returns.
The main actor sings a song some of the lyrics go...."There's so many people that darling I'd...."
appreciate the help

I think the film you are looking for is 'Dancing Thru' The Dark'. A great little film with a great soundtrack. Hope this helps.

Ohhh my god.
This is one of my top fav 5 films ever. It's nice to know that others apprecate it too. I love the soundtrack, don't know if it's available but would definately but it. I recently purchase this film on VHS (couldn't find DVD). Love it, it's still fab.
I believe it was written for the stage, but don't quote me on it, I know it was by Willy Russell.

Princess Pooh,
I just bought the DVD from Turner classic movies. I don't know if it will play for you if you are in the UK.

Well, I watched it last night. Not a bad flick. You can tell the DVD was transfered from a VHS tape to the DVD. The problem is it looks terrible... At least on an HD TV. I had to set the zoom to 1/2 to be able to watch it! I think it would look OK on a standard def TV...
