Way back in about '82, my parents watched a movie that my mother swore was called Christmas Mountain, and she said it had Harry Dean Stanton in it. It was not One Magic Christmas. Anyway, it was about this really poor family that lived up on a mountain, and the town's people were really mean to them. They would bring them old dirty clothes and stuff that couldn't really help them. Have any of ya'll seen this movie? I can't find any info on IMDB. Please help!

Hasn't got Harry Dean in it, but here's THE PLOT SUMMARY FOR CHRISTMAS MOUNTAIN from 1981. Sounds pretty similar.

I checked Stanton's imdb.com page and One Magic Christmas looks like his only Christmas movie.
