Cobra's one of my favourite movies and very underrated (to me at least), I think the review given on this site was negative, and alot of user comments at imdb.com. I guess when there's a film you care for it's sometimes hard to believe that others don't enjoy it also. Marion Cobretti (probably named after John Wayne) was a really cool character-"You're disease. And I'm the cure." he says to a gunman ready to blow up a supermarket. I would have liked it had they gone into more detail concerning the bad guys "new world", and the bad guys here don't mess around, they're genuinly scary, with no one-liners. Headed by Brian Thompson as the Night Slasher, it's exciting waiting for the inevitable showdown between him and Cobretti.
Night Slasher to Cobretti: "Let's bleed pig! I want your eyes pig! I want them ! You want to go to hell? Huh, pig? You wanna go to hell with me? It doesn't matter does it? We are the hunters. We kill the weak so the strong survive. You can't stop the New World. Your filthy society will never get rid of people like us. It's beeding them. We are the future!".
