Okay so we thought he would have a long thriving career. Pretty much when 1990 hit he seemed to be reduced to a B-rated movie actor. Why do you think that is? Why does he suffer from that "kid" stardom problem that once you hit adulthood your flame dies out??? Anyone got any ideas on this?

We of course know him from so many great films from the 80s that include Tank, The Outsiders, Soul Man, Secret Admirer, and The Hitcher. What was it about him that stood out for you?

Thomas seemed to have that down home sort of kid next door vibe, he wasn't as striking as say fellow Outsiders leading men Cruise, Swayze or Rob Lowe. I think he went to b-movie hell becuase he couldn't keep getting good roles maybe due to his agent and the competition was too fierce. Funny, I was just watching a vampire miniseries he was in from 1996 called the Kindred and he was Ok in that. I guess it's hard to stay on top for so long.

He's so freakin' adorable i could die. And i also think he is a very good actor but mostly I fell in love with his cuteness.

Steve Powers: Hey Beautiful, want a ride?
Michael: No thanks, Steve. I'll just walk.

Deborah: Your feelings are so amazingly beautiful. And to be able to put them...and write them down on paper like that...I think you're a poet. What did you mean when you said I'd given you the greatest gift you'd ever known?

Michael: Well..naturally, I was referring
to the whole giving concept. You know, the concept of giving.

YES!! Love that line!!

I saw C. Thomas at a Chiller Theatre convention like 2 years ago. I didn't talk to him but I did get a pic of him and I'm pretty sure I put it on here...I'll have to look.

IMO, he really got much more mature looking since his Secret Admirer days...I don't want to say he looked old because, hey, we're all aging but I had to look twice. He was VERY VERY thin and had alot of grey in his hair.

He was great in Admirer, Outsiders and The Hitcher. He held his own and gave solid performances among his fellow actors, who were also very talented and maybe more widely recognized. C. Thomas deserves his props.

I saw some pics of him recently and he looks like he's really aged poorly. Still liked some of his stuff though........
