I remember a movie about a man who is running from the law ( I think he broke out of jail)and kidnaped a young girl.He hid out in the home of a family on vacation (I think)in a small town. He posed as a father and daughter new to town. One of the town folk reconized the girl and then.. Soon the girl was in love with him, the cops at the door ,she defended him, he died. Can someone help me please this has been driving me nuts for close to twenty years.

Hmmm...I have never seen SWEET HOSTAGE with Linda Blair and Martin Sheen, but that sounds like it might be it.
