It was on over the weekend. It give N.I.M.H. a serious run as Don Bluth's darkest film; Charlie's nightmares on the horrors presumably awaiting in hell are still a bit unnerving today. Sure they cop out a little at the end allowing him to go back when they said he "could never go back," but no matter; his character arc is still believable to where we do feel he's earned redemption.

Burt Reynolds singing is a little disturbing, but I think the movie is cute. I used to love it as a kid. The alligator is also kinda of off-putting, lol.
