Hi, I am hoping someone in this forum can help me. I remember a movie that I use to watch when I was young that no one seems to rememer except my husband. I think it had to have been made in the eighties. Anyway, it is about a girl that finds this passage way or portal through her closet mirror to another land. In this land is a witch that has this berry or cherry tree that has magical powers. She decides to try and get some of these berries for her grandmother who is either sick or dying to help her get better. During the journey, some thing (I can't remember if it was human or a creature) gives her a tour of the land and guides her to the witches palace. On her way there I remember them going through a garden where they had cabbage patch kids. When she returned home (back through her mirror) with the berries she tripped and once the berries hit the floor, they disappeared. She was very upset and her grandmother saw her crying and explained to her something about how death is normal or she is going be ok or something to that affect. Then that was the end. Ok....can anyone help me track this movie down so I don't feel crazy? I would soooo very much appreciate it. Thanks!
