These were B grade movies that talked about innnocent people escaping Russia during its communist days.
The "Gulag," with Keith David (David Keith), is one of them.
Their are two others that I'm trying to find.
The first one shows a group of American friends sneaking into the Soviet Union (Russia) from Finland. They get caught, and not all of them get home.
The next shows some fishermen from Norway who get attacked by Soviets that are on an Island in Norway. One gets home, only to get killed by his own (Norway) government.
