Ok this rarely happens to me. I'm stumped on a title for a movie I saw some time in the mid eighties. The movie had a similar plot as the movie Band of the Hand...except it was adults and not kids who were fighting the drug dealers. The most I can remember is that these guys were Vietnam war buddies. I think one of them got killed...maybe by some local drug dealers or gangbangers. Then all of the buddies assembled A-Team style to exact revenge for the death of their buddy. One other odd thing I remember...whenever there was violence going down, the citizens all came outside and were banging three times in unison on whatever was nearest them. It was like a sign to the Vietnam vets that they were needed. Any idea on a title?

Their were a bunch of movies like this in the 80's but this is the closest one, to what you are describing, that I could remember.

Excellent! This is it. Thanks so much. I was reading some of the comments people left on IMDB amd now it's coming back to me. I now remember the guy getting killed by the meat tenderizer. I was only 11 and I remember how horrifying that was...especially since the guy was in a wheelchair. I wish there was a trailer for this film. I'd like to see the movie again. I think at the time it was a probably a decent action pic but by todays standards it's a big cheese-fest. Good stuff. Thanks again, Bob.
