Hope you guys can help me out, i love 80s cheesy films nad i have a good memory of one but all i can remember is that it was a typical prom party plot, 'ugly' girl goes with jock or some sort, possibly wins the night then at the party after she finds out he was using her (i seem to remember she is changing or something..in a different room anyways) then she runs off and i think, well presme it all ends hunky dorey. i really hope someone remembers this as its diving me mad!!

Oddly, that sounds sort of like DOG FIGHT with River Phoenix...only that wasnt a prom. He was a soldier in twon for one night and he had to find a date for a "bring An Ugly Girl" Party. He brought a plain Jane waitress he had met and in the ladies room someone (E.G. Daley!) told her it was an Ugly Girl Party. She leaves and he follows her and they end up knocking boots.
