Talk about The Lost Girls script reminded me of the original script for Little Monsters, which I found and read. It's definitely darker than the movie (I prefer the movie, yes), but it does touch a little more on the characters and less on the gags. It also plays up the themes of the movie, rather than going for the kiddy version.
