I love Xanadu....I already posted on "another" thread that I think Olivia Newton-John is one of the prettiest women I have ever seen.

My fav of all time is The Breakfast Club, but I also love Real Genius (loved Laslo, the dude in the closet), Working Girl (Tess had such cool hair), and the one with Michael J. Fox where he starts out in the mail room but pretends to be an exec...can't think of the name, but will watch it anytime I flip through the channels

Replaced with CGI unfortunatley. Effects used to be there to enhance a story, now they are the story.
The last "new" decent movies I saw were Sideways and The Business.
My faves from the 80's are:
Planes Trains & Automobiles, Uncle Buck, Scarface, Back to the Future, The Breakfast Club, St Elmo's Fire, Fletch, Licence to Drive, The Goonies, Adventures in Babysitting, Wargames, First Blood, Red Dawn...
I could go on and on (all joint first btw).
