I'm looking to find out the name of a movie. It's been bugging the hell out of me for a while now. It's about a boy who gets lost in the woods somehow. He has an iron puzzle he's trying to figure out. Through the course of the movie, he puts on animal skins and becomes like an animal. He's being hunted for some reason by some guys and he encounters an old hermit who offers him some skunk tea. At the end, he has to climb a cliff to escape the hunter. The hunter is about to fall and the boy holds out the iron puzzle, but when the man takes hold of it, it comes apart and he falls to his death. Anyone know the movie? It used to be on HBO all the time in the late eighties.
