The movie is about a blonde little girl who's in some Asian (I think it was either China or Japan) country with her parents. I can't remember how but she either loses them or they get kidnapped or something, and she's left with the robot. I think her father may have built/created the robot? They end up wandering around the country together. The robot can talk, and it pasteurizes some milk for her... That's about all I can remember about it. I've been trying to figure out the name of this movie for ages, I'be so glad if someone can finally bring my search to an end!
