Can anyone tell me how I can get this film, The Black Devil Doll From Hell done in 1984? I cannot find it so far on ebay, amazon, etc.

.............I know I once went to a website hosted by a guy who owned copies of all the movies he did reviews for. He had a copy of BDDFH ...but when I emailed him about how to get a copy he never wrote me back. I'll look around and tell ya if I see anything. (By the way....I thought I was the only one in the world who sat through the hilariously bad BDDFH!)

Your sure your not thinking of TRILOGY OF TERROR, right? A lot of people get these two mixed up. TRILOGY OF TERROR is when Karen Black gets a gift African Zuni doll in the mail, the chain falls off it's ankle and it attacks her. BLACK DEVIL DOLL FROM HELL is about a black woman who buys a ventriliquist dummy size doll in a pawn shop and it comes to life and beats and rapes her.

About 1983 or so, I watched a movie on tv that was really similar to Trilogy of Terror. The story plot, etc. was the same but I seem to remember the doll being more of a baby doll with the same story plot; the chains falls off the dolls neck, the doll attacks the lady, bathroom scene, suitcase scene, the lady puts the doll in the oven and that is when I remember this movie ending. I remember when the doll came to life it was more like a monster and was bitting at the ladies ankles etc. Didn't know if someone had made a remake off of Trilogy of Terror?

Well, there is a TRILOGY OF TERROR and a TRILOGY OF TERROR II which was sort of a re-make. From how you describe it (especially the microwave scene) it sounds like one of the TRILOGY OF TERROR movies. Go to www.imdb.com and look up TRILOGY OF TERROR and TRILOGY OF TERROR II. If it's them you can get them on DVD through eBay, www.half.com and www.amazon.com Good luck.

I just checked www.half.com. and they sell TRILOGY OF TERROR for about $60 there (dvd). That seems like a lot...but not compared to the $200.00 they want for a VHS copy of BLACK DEVIL DOLL FROM HELL! They didnt have TRILOGY OF TERROR II , but eBay did....at least on vhs....for a couple of bucks. The more I think of your description the more I think it was one of the TRILOGY OF TERROR flicks and NOT BLACK DEVIL DOLL FROM HELL, because BDDFH the doll rapes the woman and in TOT he just chases her around screaming "Aiaiaiaiaia!" and she fights him off....eventually putting him in a microwave!
