All I remember about this movie is that a teacher eats a frog, and a little girl with pig tales has a needle shoved in the back of her neck. Any guesses?

Was it the remake of
Invaders from Mars (1986)
there is a scene where a teacher eats a frog. My sister, brother and I would rewind that part over and over (and I was only like 6). -

Great film...

Too bad it's DVD releases from 1998 and 2001 are currently OOP (out of print).
