That is a bummer about Dr. Baker. I always liked him...he was my son's favorite character on Little House, we actually had looked all the cast up not long ago to see if they were still alive, and we saw where he had his own web site, and we had thought about writing him a letter, but just never got around to it. It is kind of sad now, I wish we would have done it.

Okay I cannot believe he was only 77, he looked at least that old on the prairie. I don't think that I have ever seen him in anything else. It has been a long time since I have seen Little House.

ISIS don't you have some of this on DVD? I always liked the show because it took place in Kansas. There is a little town near me called Walnut and when I was little I always thought that was where the show took place.

I read the article that Sam posted and I cannot believe that they aren't planning any services for him, that seems kind of odd.

not sure if there wasn't any services planned at the time the article was written or if they meant there will be no services.

Personally I don't desire any big whoopity doo for me after I die. Just a few people saying a few words will be nice. Then they can cremate me and spread my ashes at center ice before a Bismarck Bobcat hockey game.

Funny I want cremated too...what a thing to have in common. I don't want any memorial....I don't care what they do with my ashes...I sure know I don't want to be taking up a piece of the Earth for all of eternity....with a name on a stone...that nobody will ever know who I was in 100 years from now.

Jessica- I do have Seasons 1-6 on DVD.

I have seen Dr. Baker in the movie The Hunter....Steve McQueen's last movie, he was playing poker in Steve's house.
