Okay let's revive an old favorite here. Jennifer Connelly was first introduced to us in this one. This is still one that I need to get added to my collection.
It centers around three friends from a small town and all of the woes they deal with growing up. There is Jeff who is having a hard time dealing with his stepfather, Natalie whose mother died when she was younger and gets to stay by herself while her dad is away on a business trip, and Polly who is obsessed with a baseball player and ends up running away from home.
What are your fond memories of this teen drama?

That's a movie I have never seen, and really want to. I looked it up and couldn't find it on Ebay either. I need to start a new list of movies I want to see.

Oh Lisa you definately need to watch this one. It is oozing with 80s stuff, clothes, cars, and teenagers!! It must not be available on DVD yet, it has been a while since I looked it up.
Let me know if you ever get to see it.

great movie. i haven't seen it in soooo long. i need to buy this one, cause i have seen it for sale at amazon. i don't do ebay so i usually order everything from amazon.
i remember being annoyed by jennifer connelly's character in this one. i didn't really like polly either, but the movie was still funny. i love the song that plays at the end, when the credits roll. i do not have that song, but i want it.

The baseball player's name was Zoo Knudson, played by Billy Wirth. It was Wirth's first movie.

He was extremely hot in The Lost Boys and Red Shoe Diaries!!!! I think he does a lot of B-Movie work and directing now. I bet he is still hot!!

A forgotten movie for sure. I rented it about five years ago, when I looked at the box I was so surprised I never saw or heard of it before. I think this movie tried to fuse some light heartedness with the difficulty of families. What became with the kid who was having issues with his mother?

Didn't HBO used to play this every afternoon? I really liked it growing up. I like how Connelly's character has a lukewarm fling in Washington DC.
