Those are all awesome rides fer sure. But I'll still take my Porsche, either Jake Ryan's in "Sixteen Candles" or Joel Goodsen's In "Risky Business".

I'd also throw into the list Uncle Buck's car; I'd just love seeing the looks on people's faces every time it backfired.

Devolution here,

Charlie Sheen's car in "The Wraith"

WE are DEVO

The Dodge Charger from the Dukes of Hazzard.

Definitely Turbo Interceptor from The Wraith for me - http://www.thewraithcar.com/

The jet car in Buckaroo Banzai was an odd one, this was before the days of CGI over-use so they put a real jet engine on it!

If anyone else has seen Cherry 2000, the car Melanie Griffith drives looks like it could win a few races.

Cameron's dad's car in Ferris Bueller, or the Mount Prospect Bluesmobile.

(Groucho Marx voice) Congratulations, you said the secret word!

Seriously, I'd definitely like to get behind the wheel of the DeLorean from BTTF. Once I learn how to drive, and if I can get the money, I'll buy a DeLorean. There are still a few plants that make them.

Sincerely,

John Kilduff

Or Lane Myers 1967 CAMARO in Better Off Dead [Cool]

Well, I would take both cars Michael Pare drove in either Eddie and the Cruisers or Streets of Fire. I love the classics.

A cute guy in a convertible, it doesn't get much better than that. [Wink]

You guys are forgetting one SWEET ride - Wyatt's 1985 Lamborghini Countach from Weird Science!

Refresh your memory: http://www.qv500.com/Lamborghini%20Countach%20P4%203.jpg

If it were a practical vehicle, I'd take Lone Starr's space Winnebago too.

Posted by massiveretaliation (Member # 950) on :

I'd take the red GTO ('69 Judge?) from My Science Project

Posted by LONNIE (Member # 3934) on :

How about the KarmenGhia in Top Gun that Kelli McGillis drove all around that is a sweet ride.

I loved the Delorian. True artwork. Also, if you count movies shot in the 80's but release in 1990 - the Lamborghini from Pretty Woman

And...for a lover of classics: the Ferrari out of Ferris Bueller's Day off. Man, I'd like to have a cruise in that [Big Grin] [Cool]

I'm with Devolution and The Wizard here. The Wraith's Turbo Interceptor gets my vote hands down. DeLoreans are slow and who cares about time travel when you have a super-cool car straight from outer space!!

Actually, you're both wrong. Definitely not a Countach. No Lambos in that movie. It was a Ferrari, you got that right, but not a 308. It was a Mondial. Since, as far as I know, all 308s were made as Targas with a removable roof section, I don't believe there is such a beast as a 308 Spyder anyhow.

You were also correct that the other car was a Porsche. A 928. Not a convertible, though. They never built a 928 'vert.

There was, however, a convertible pink '59 Caddy.

Newbomb Turks brother's Pie Wagon...classic! "That ***** is lookin' for me?!"

"Now, I owe it to myself to tell you that if you're taking the whole tribe cross-country, the Wagon Queen Family Truckster... You think you hate it now, wait 'til you drive it."

The Batmobile - I Can't use the Nolan Tumbler, buuuut I imagine Burton's revamp would get me out of a scrape if needed! [Razz]

The Porkchop Express - "This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there."

Al Czervik's red Rolls SCIII convertible. - "Hey Wang! What's with the pictures?! It's a parking lot!"

Marion Cobretti's solid black 1950 Ford Mercury. - "Awsom 50"

The Duke of New York's Limo - Although it kind of ends up all shot to s*** and blown in half, i always loved that it had chandiliers on the quarter panels...juuuuust toooo coool. [Cool]

The Green Goblin Semi from Maximum Overdrive...totally bad*** looking, but i think there might have been something fishy going on with it...

The EM-50 from Stripes - "Come on. Let's take the truck. No. Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No. I'll drive. Okay."

My favorite is Cindy Mancini's VW Rabbit convertible in "Can't Buy Me Love." Inspired me to get one of my own!

Suprising Mr. Frye's Ferrari hasn't come up yet; that would also be high on my list.

The V-8 Interceptor from Mad Max 2.

Once it had been converted to solar power, then it could run indefinitely.
