I just read that Lucas is going to remaster all 6 films in 3-D and then re-release them at the theater! Also, James Cameron is doing his next sci-fi project, Battle Angel, in 3-D. Robert Rodriques' next film, The Adventures of Shark Boy & Lava Girl is in 3-D too!!!!! And I read that Peter Jackson has just put a 3-D editing suite up at the set of Kong. (he might make a 3-D master later. I'm just trippin' reading all this! I know that the new 3-D technology is a lot better than the old stuff done in the past. If anyone has been to an IMAX 3-D movie you know how good it is. There's no more seeing outlines of 3 images...it's all seamless now. Looks fantastic. I can't wait. Lucas and Cameron were at the Showest convention recently and anounced all this. They are also developing 3D digital projectors that regular theaters can use to play the new 3-D movies.
