Yippee!!! Me and my high school boyfriend went to see it, and I loved it. We went with his brother, and sister, and some other friends, and everyone thought I looked like Catherine Mary Stewart in that movie. I can remember exactly what I was even wearing the night of that movie. I had a pastel blue shirt on, with pink and different pastel colored blocks on it, and it was kind of like a crop top, and I had pink square earrings on, and a light blue plastic headband, with my bangs in the front....because she had almost the same kind of look in that movie that I was wearing that night, and people asked me if that was me in the movie, and I said..I wish!! Cause I liked her in the movie. I think it is a great date movie. I miss that so much....being in high school, and having a great movie to either rent or go see at the movies. That was so much fun.
I have it on VHS, but I definately will buy it, because it is so nostalgic to me.

this is great news, i like this movie a lot. man, it seems like for a while 80s movies were shooting out dvd releases left and right, and now, every 80s title is taking it's sweet time coming out, 1 by 1. anyhoo, can't wait to buy this one.

That news rocks! It's been a long wait. I first sw it on TV in the 80's. What was different about it back then was that the stupid station that played the 80's movies made it a habit of editing the foul language, and I remember the kid with the blonde hair in the movie was upset, and he said "you no-good hound dog!" Instead of something stronger. Hilarious. Anyone else had a ridiculous station that edited movies of the 80's kind? Anyway, stoked that it's finally on DVD.
