Well I have to say that this is such a heartwarming film about the Jim Henson's little creatures. We see the muppets set off to the Big Apple in hopes of making their Broadway dreams come true. In the midst of it all Kermit gets amnesia and becomes an advertising executive. With the help of some of his friends the gang all gets back together to try to find Kermit and get their show on Broadway. Very cute film with supporting roles by--oh you know the guy that played the nerdy hotel son Neil from Dirty Dancing, Joan Rivers, and others I don't remember their names right off the top of my head. It isn't that often that a movie with puppets can so effectively mix comedy and drama. Makes you want to laugh and cry.
Do any of you all have a fondness for this movie?

I do...it was the first movie I reviewed for the Rewind (3 years ago this year...Where does the time go?).
I liked everything about it and it's still my favorite Muppet film to this day. I wish that they would re-release the soundtrack on CD...I can't find an MP3 of the film's song "Can't Take No For An Answer". That song, performed by the Muppet character Dr. Teeth, sounds like it could've been performed by The J. Geils Band as well.
