Hi! I read on the Can't Buy Me Love page that Courtney Gains is the son of Mickey Rooney. Well, I hung out with Courtney over the weekend, and asked him if it were true, and he said NO! And he asked me where I heard that, and I told him this site. So you guys might want to fix that! Courtney was a really great, down to earth guy. Here's a picture....

Wow I will always think of him as the creepy Malachi in Children of the Corn. What has he been up to lately anyway???? How did you get to meet him and hang out with him???

I met him at the Horrorfind Convention in Phoenix. The turnout was extrememly low, so we didn't have to wait in line to meet people. And since we stayed at the hotel all weekend, I made frequent stops at his table. His latest movie is National Lampoon's Dorm Daze. It is now on video. And he's also promoting the new Children of the Corn dvd, which he is on the commentary. He says that he and John Franklin(Isaac) are still very close and he actually almost made the convention also. Courtney signed my dvd and an 8x10 for me. I can post pictures of those later. He was joking around with my husband that he was going to kill him and run away with me! I wish!!
