I wish I could answer that question, but I can't because it was a total shock to me as well. Because back in June of 2002 they had a "Valley Girl" reunion at the LA Filmfest and Deborah Foreman attended. She made it sound like they did commentary for the film at this showing, but guess not. Deb did a Rewind disappearing acting for a while and has never answered the "Valley Girl" question.
She seemed excited though at the time..here's what she said in 2002 about the LA filmfest:
quote: Ahhh...Amy and KC... you guys rock...I remember both of you.... Glad to hear you enjoyed the evening. I think it was kinda different. Martha, Cameron, myself, Fred Elms and Heidi Holicker commentated through the whole film. The only thing that got to me was the auditorium was so bloody cold. Didn't you think so Amy and KC? It was hard to enjoy myself. I was shivering like crazy. And I was a little nervous, especially at the end when we were answering questions on how VALLEY GIRL changed our lives held in the lobby. When I have to be personal I get nervous. If it is about others and not me .... I am okay. That's just me. It was great seeing everybody. The only two that did not show were Nic and Fred (played my dad). Everyone was there. Lots of hugging and laughing going on.
Found out about Michelle Meyrink.. She has three kids, married and living in Canada. Has no aspirations of being an actress at this time and sent her love to all of us.
Thanks. Debby!
